According to Fabrizio Romano, Atalanta have secured an agreement to sign Almeria striker El Bilal Toure and the deal should be concluded soon. The 21-year-old striker is being touted as a replacement for Rasmus Hojlund amid his links to a move to Man United.

Manchester United Receive Rasmus Hojlund Boost With El Bilal Toure Move

How Does Bilal Toure Move Benefit United?

Romano states that the Mali forward is expected to undergo his medicals on Friday before he can complete a move to the Italian club. It’s reported that they will be paying a fee of £26.5 million, including add-ons, to sign the 21-year-old after securing a total agreement with the La Liga club.

Atalanta are ready to pay a solidarity clause to the Spanish side for this payment and have also accepted the inclusion of a 15% sell-on clause that will give Almeria the right to receive a portion of the fee the Serie A club will receive if they decide to sell him in the foreseeable future.

Incidentally, this actually opens up the door for Hojlund to leave the Italian side and join some major side. The Red Devils are reported to have made their first bid to sign him and are pushing to rope him in to lead the line for them.

What Is Currently on United’s Agenda?

It has been reported that the Red Devils have offered a total fee of around £52.5 million for the signing of the Denmark international, but that it still falls short of what La Dea wants to sell him. The Italian team are demanding £60 million and they could hold out on his sale until someone offers them exactly what they are looking for.

United have reportedly already agreed personal terms with Hojlund, who is ready to join them and take a big step upward to the Premier League. Atalanta’s move for Bilal Toure might be an indication that they are preparing for life after the 20-year-old Danish forward, who was hailed for his ‘extraordinary margins’ by manager Gian Piero Gasperini last season and scored 10 goals for La Dea last season.
